Collection: Marshmallows

At the origin of marshmallow paste was a plant whose soothing properties were recognized in the treatment of inflammatory illnesses. In La Nouvelle Maison rustique (1804), it is written that “its mucilage, reduced into tablets with sugar, is admirable against coughs.”

Nowadays, marshmallow root is no longer used, but AUZIER CHABERNAC continues the tradition of making old-fashioned marshmallows, flavoured with orange blossom, aniseed, violet, mandarin or lemon.

All our flavours are natural and combine with more modern tastes, such as pineapple, grenadine, peach, strawberry or banana.
